<div dir="ltr">What is the bylaw change proposal?<br></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Sun, Oct 27, 2019 at 11:07 PM Travis via Members <<a href="mailto:members@lists.skydivelspc.com">members@lists.skydivelspc.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr">Members,<div><br></div><div>Our november meeting is coming up at the end of the week. This is the first of two very important months for the club as these are our election months. Along with the regular festivities of food, beer, and talking, we will be nominating folks to run for our board of directors this next year. Please keep the best interest of your club in mind when making your nominations and realize that we all want the very best for our historic family. </div><div><br></div><div>600pm - Board meeting</div><div>700pm - Dinner</div><div>800pm - Regular meeting</div><div><br></div><div>As a reminder, our board consists of seven members who all serve very important roles. All responsibilities are thoroughly spelled out in the bylaws but I will outline them here:  </div><div><br></div><div>President - Chief executive, presides over meetings, executes general business management and acts as the spokesperson. </div><div><br></div><div>Vice President - Presides in absence of president, demo organizer.</div><div><br></div><div>Secretary - Attends and records all regular, annual, and board meetings. Responsible for informing members and recording membership applications. </div><div><br></div><div>Treasurer - Holds custody of funds and keeps books. Pays all debts as directed by the club and board. </div><div><br></div><div>Training officer - Must be an instructor or coach. Responsible for scheduling and coordinating all instructional staff, video staff, and courses. Responsible for advertising.</div><div><br></div><div>2 Board at Large - Serves as a voting member of the board and performs all duties as assigned by the board. </div><div><br></div><div>Hope to see you all there!</div><div><br></div><div>Travis. </div></div>
